Vancouver Weather: Mainly cloudy, with a chance of rain


If you are hoping for some sunshine for the Family Day long weekend you may be in luck. Environment and Climate Change Canada is forecasting rain for Saturday but then clear and sunny weather on Sunday and Monday.

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Thursday, Feb. 17. Today’s weather is expected to be mainly cloudy with a good chance of rain or drizzle, and a high of 8 C, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. Overnight, there’s a chance of drizzle with a low of 7 C and then Friday looks much the same with a high of 8 C. Then, for the long weekend, it looks like rain on Saturday followed by sunny, clear weather on Sunday and Monday, highs ranging between 7 C and 8 C. Then, the first couple of days of the work week look pleasant, with a mix of sun and cloud expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, highs of 6 C both days.

Tonight: Cloudy, with a 40 per cent chance of drizzle. Temperature steady near 7 C.
