South Africa abstains as UN ‘demands’ Russia withdraws from Ukraine

It has been billed as the preamble to World War III. Sadly, innocent lives are caught up in the war raging between Russia and Ukraine in a conflict that puts the world’s most powerful countries on a collision course.

As Russian troops roll on, and displaced refugees scramble for the borders of neighbouring countries, we will keep you updated on the latest developments between these warring nations and how the world – including South Africa – is reacting to this latest humanitarian crisis.
