One of Canada’s top goalkeepers to host special soccer clinics

What’s the best way to learn about a sport? While each individual might have their own techniques they pick up as they try and get better, soccer clubs and leagues across the country will soon be able to get a unique learning opportunity from a Canadian legend and Olympian.

To start her retirement, Olympic gold medallist Stephanie Labbé will be travelling from coast to coast to offer a limited number of youth soccer clinics.

Labbé will host goalkeeper or player clinics through clubs or associations that apply to her Champion Tour 2022.

During the sessions, she will provide insight on her 2020 Olympic experience, drills, techniques, and games used by an Olympian to get ready for big matches. And some attendees will even get a chance at doing what some of the world’s best soccer stars couldn’t do: take a chance at scoring a penalty shot against Labbé.

The tour will run from mid-May to July. Clubs are able to apply, but spots are limited.
