Tigers outfielder Riley Greene looks on after hitting a triple against the Yankees in the third inning during spring training at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium on Friday, April 1, 2022.

Facing New York Yankees starter Gerrit Cole, Greene fouled a pitch off the inside part of his foot before hitting a sixth-pitch changeup for a triple to center field in the third inning.

Greene stayed on the bases and came around to score, but after the third, he was removed from the game and limped down the right-field line with a trainer. Eric De La Rosa replaced him in the lineup.
